Energy Management Systems:
Taking Control of Your Facility’s Energy Consumption

Find out how to purchase and use an EMS to improve energy efficiency and boost your bottom line.

An Energy Management System (EMS) provides commercial property managers, building owners and facility engineers precise and up-to-date control over a facility’s energy use. The benefits of an EMS include monitoring and optimizing building equipment, analyzing and improving energy consumption, and developing best practices. SRP and the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is offering an informative one-day technical training that takes an in-depth look at EMS and their benefits.

Attendees of this full-day training event will learn and cover topics such as:

  • Planning for, evaluating, specifying, and procuring a control system.
  • Utilizing HVAC and energy science to maximize system use.
  • Evaluating the impacts of schedule ECM changes.
  • Understanding and working with bin data to evaluate loads and usage.
  • Determining the appropriate EMS option for your facility.
  • Developing cost analysis and exploring ways to verify savings.
  • Discussing an overview of incentives offered by SRP Business Solutions.

We highly recommend bringing your laptop to this training so that you can follow along with the presentation.

The presentation and any handouts associated with the class will be forwarded to you via email. As part of our efforts to be more sustainable, we will not provide printed copies of the presentation.
