AEE Monthly Meeting

Date: January 9, 2020
Time: 12:00 PM  to  1:30 PM
Location: 2020 N Central Ave. Ste. 900 Phoenix AZ 85004
This month’s AEE meeting will be held at DNV GL. (see below for address) The feature topic will be presented by Patricia Ewanski. Patricia
will be providing a presentation on DER trends.

Distributed Energy Resources (DER) adoption is increasing at a quick pace and may continue to do so over the next few years. Utilities are learning how
to best adjust their distribution grids, customer services, rate plan offerings, and customer programs to help customers obtain services they want and need,
while maintaining reliability and affordability. This presentation benchmarks seven U.S. utilities, highlighting their adaptations to increasing DERs,
including their net metering offerings. This will help attendees gain a view ofthe broader range of utility actions being taken and options being considered.
Additionally, a few noteworthy new DER developments including some speculative technology will be mentioned to keep the listener apprised of
current innovation in the field.
