Refrigeration Training

Learn about basic refrigeration and the energy efficiency measures that have the most impact on the cost of operating refrigeration systems.

SRP and the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is offering full-day training on refrigeration on March 21st as part of our Energy Efficiency Technical Training series. We invite facility managers, maintenance staff, plant engineers, consultants and building owners to join us for a class focused on grocery and convenience stores. We will also discuss applications for any commercial facility with refrigeration needs.  LED lighting will also be discussed as lighting is the second highest utility category for stores after refrigeration. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Attendees of this full-day training will learn and cover topics such as:

  • The fundamentals of the refrigeration cycle
  • About energy efficiency measures that have the most impact on energy bills
  • How EEMs (Energy Efficiency Measures) can improve the shopping experience and product quality
  • Discuss new technologies and their potential impact or uncertainties.
  • How to evaluate LED lighting products – not all are created equal
  • Rebate opportunities offered through SRP Business Solutions
  • All attendees will receive a certificate of class participation upon completion of a class evaluation survey.

We highly recommend bringing your laptop to this training so that you can follow along with the presentation.

The presentation and any handouts associated with the class will be forwarded to you via email. As part of our efforts to be more sustainable, we will not provide printed copies of the presentation.
